In September 1620, with up to 132 people on board, the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth, England, on its way to the New World. After a treacherous journey battling stormy seas and navigational errors, they finally reached modern day Massachusetts in November of the same year.
Now, 400 years later, we are pleased to welcome Steve Hopkins to the Genvolt team. Steve is based in Boston, Massachusetts and will concentrate on building business for us in the USA and Canada.
Steve has been in the Power Electronics industry for over 30 years, most recently with Spellman High Voltage and TDK/Lambda(ALE Brand).
He is well versed in high voltage DC and Capacitor Charging power supplies (300V to 500kV) as well as Xray sources (i.e. monoblocks) sold to OEM’s and End Users in the Medical, Security (Airport and Border), Semiconductor Fab, Industrial, Defence, Analytical and Scientific Research Markets.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Arizona State University/IRA A Fulton Schools of Engineering with a concentration in Power Electronics and Semiconductor Physics.
