Unshielded CableHigh Voltage Cable
Genvolt are able to supply unshielded cable with voltage ratings from 10-150kV (DC) and 3-45kV (AC). With our standard size ranges from 22 AWG to 8 AWG (0.34mm² to 8.36mm²) this gives a large general cable cross section for a large number of applications, however other sizes can be made available upon request if our standard range doesn't meet your needs.
Materials and Ratings
Our standard dielectric materials are silicone, Teflon FEP and LDHMW Polyethelene, however we can provide custom cable types and dielectrics upon request. The standard range of unshielded cables have a minimum ambient temperature specification of -65°C and a maximum conductor temperature of up to 200°C. Please get in touch with our technical team if you have a cable requirement for any heat critical applications.
Many of the unshielded cables feature a semi conductive layer that is capable of delivering a low partial discharge and cable AC rating and are RoHS compliant.

Applications
There are many possible uses for Genvolt unshielded high voltage cable such as laser systems, high voltage transformers, industrial applications, medical equipment, high voltage power supplies and extending to their use in defence and space.
